Dutch White Clover is a versatile, low-growing perennial cover crop that enriches soil, suppresses weeds, and supports pollinators. Known for its ability to fix nitrogen, it improves soil fertility naturally, making it an excellent living mulch between vegetable rows or under taller, established crops. Its dense, low habit makes it ideal for garden pathways and lawn diversification, creating a resilient turf that attracts bees and butterflies with continuous white blooms. Hardy, tolerant of mowing and foot traffic, and well-suited to a wide range of soils, Dutch White Clover is an easy, multipurpose plant for both productive gardens and pollinator-friendly landscapes.

Sow Dutch White Clover in early spring or late summer when soil is moist. Broadcast seed at about ¼ lb per 1,000 sq ft, lightly raking or pressing into the soil for good contact. Plant no deeper than ¼ inch. Clover thrives in sun to partial shade and tolerates a wide range of soils. Keep moist until established. Use as a living mulch under vegetables, overseed into lawns for pollinator-friendly turf, or plant in paths for a tough, nitrogen-fixing groundcover. Regular mowing encourages denser growth and longer blooming.
