AKA Swamp Milkweed. Fragrant pink blooms attract monarchs and bees. Monarch butterfly host plant. Thrives in moist soils and bright sun.

Transplant or direct seed. Sow directly on bare soil in fall or cold stratify seeds for 30 days if planting in the spring. For transplanting, sow 7-9 weeks before last frost. Plant transplants before they get rootbound. Plants produce flowers the first or second year. Likes full or partial sun. Deer resistant.

All sales are final and we do not accept returns or exchanges except in the case of delivering the wrong item or recalling specific seed lots due to contamination. For wholesale customers who purchase our pre-filled bundles, we will provide a credit for the following season’s order for any packets returned by October 1st.
