Loto Italian Upland Arborio Rice - Organic

Certified Organic. 110 days to maturity. 

A rice that grows well in the Upper Midwest! This upland type produces multiple heads per plant, a fun addition for the adventurous gardener.

Transplant. Sow indoors 3-4 weeks before last frost. Transplant after the threat of frost has passed. Keep these plants weeded as the rice plants resemble grass. Once rice heads start to form monitor for bird damage and cover if needed to protect the crop. Harvest when grains turn golden brown.

All sales are final and we do not accept returns or exchanges except in the case of delivering the wrong item or recalling specific seed lots due to contamination. For wholesale customers who purchase our pre-filled bundles, we will provide a credit for the following season’s order for any packets returned by October 1st.
