Simpson has tender and tasty pods and spineless plants. Great okra option for the Midwest.

Direct Seed. Sow at the beginning of the growing season once the threat of frost has passed. Okra grows well with warm roots, using black landscape fabric is advisable. Successive large yellow blooms produce green okra pods that stay tender even as they grow. Plants can reach heights of 5 feet.

All sales are final and we do not accept returns or exchanges except in the case of delivering the wrong item or recalling specific seed lots due to contamination. For wholesale customers who purchase our pre-filled bundles, we will provide a credit for the following season’s order for any packets returned by October 1st.
