Days to Maturity

65 Days to Maturity. Certified Organic.

Sturdy plants yield an abundance of green peppers great for frying. These peppers have little to no heat and make a great side or snack. Fruits are longer than other shishito varieties.

Transplant. Sow 6-8 weeks before last frost. Plants may require staking as they set an abundance of fruit. Pick often while still green for best texture when frying or grilling, but ripe red peppers are sweeter.

This strain of shishito was selected by Casey Piscura of Wild Mountain Seed, and of any we have tried it is by far the most vigorous and uniformly mild yet flavorful.
