Planting Season

Spring, Summer, Fall

70 Days to Maturity. Certified Organic.

Uniform round, blue-green leaves on plants that are bolt resistant. Pleasant flavor both spring and fall planted.

Sow indoors 8 weeks before last frost and transplant within 3-4 weeks. Or direct seed late June for fall crops. Sow again in late summer for fall harvests. Collards have the best flavor when the days are still cool, or after a few frosts. Pick lower leaves to encourage new growth and reduce disease.

Can also be grown for baby greens by sowing in a band with several seeds per inch, then thin out to full size spacing after several cuttings.
