Bolero carrots are known for their high yield, excellent flavor, and smooth, uniform shape, making them a favorite for both culinary use and storage. These carrots are easy to grow in a variety of climates and soil types, offering a reliable harvest with minimal maintenance. Rich in essential nutrients like vitamin A, fiber, and antioxidants, Bolero carrots are a healthy addition to any diet. Plus, their versatility in cooking – from soups and salads to roasting and juicing – makes them a must-have in every garden. Whether you're a seasoned gardener or a beginner, Bolero carrots are an ideal choice for growing at home.

Loosen bed before planting. Direct seed in a narrow band, around 24 seeds per foot, thinning after second true leaf to 1-2" between plants, keeping moist through germination. Thin more and harvest larger and later (closer to 100 days) for storage.

Seed Source Information:

Due to intellectual property restrictions and hybrid production methodology, this variety cannot be produced on small, regional farms. However, we carry Bolero F1 because we have not found any open pollinated variety with competitive uniformity, disease resistance, and storage potential.
